In-Park Coordinator, Tactical Events

Responsibilities include:

Executes all pre-determined event details as agreed upon between the park and client, and serves as client liaison

Ensures the quality of all special events and picnics, including internal, corporate, youth, and military groups

Implements on-site logistical set up and breakdown of all Sound Waves performances, including choral, band and dance groups

Ensures quality execution of music festivals, to include set up and breakdown, as well as festival client requests

Handles the transportation of talent, coordinates meet and greets, and maintains backstage green rooms for concert needs (including the KIDsiderate Concert Series and Glory in the Gardens)

Executes community partner events, pass member events and all other special events as needed

Ensures park theming and signage is consistent with overall park quality standards

Follows department and park safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for clients and guests

Participates in other duties as assigned that support park and departmental goals and objectives

Those candidates with the following qualifications will be considered:

 

Proven coordination skills, strong communication skills

Positive attitude, team player

Demonstrated problem solving and negotiating skills

High School diploma or equivalent

Some college preferred

Event and hospitality guest service experience preferred

Theme park experience preferred

Valid VA Driver’s License required
